Good morning family
We thank God a new week and an opportunity to learn his word
This week on hope diary,we’ll talk about our faith as christians.
Faith is a strong belief in something or someone, without evidence or proof.
Faith involves conviction and a sense of confidence in the absence of certainty or definitive answers. It is often associated with hope, belief in the unseen and a willingness to trust and rely on something beyond oneself.
Day one:
This verse from the book of Romans emphasizes the importance of hearing and receiving the word of Christ in order to have faith. It suggests that faith is not something that is naturally present within individuals, but rather something that is ignited and strengthened through hearing the message of Christ. In other words, when people hear the teachings and truths of Christ, it has the potential to generate faith within them. This implies that faith is not a mere intellectual belief, but a response to the word of Christ.
Romans 10:17 is emphasizing the role of hearing in developing our faith. “Faith” is derived from hearing the word of God. In the context of Christianity, understanding and believing in Christ ’s teachings is a foundation for developing our faith. And so, we can strengthen our faith by actively listening and engaging with the word of God.
We thank you Lord for your word so sweet we ask that you help us strengthen our faith in you through Christ our Lord .
Amen.
Do have a blessed day
Day 2
Good morning everyone
Hope we are doing well.
We continue with our Hope Diary series on Faith.
Hebrews 11:6 in the Bible, says: “And without faith, it is impossible to please God because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.” It essentially emphasizes the significance of faith in pleasing God. To please God, we must have trust and belief in His existence. Additionally, having faith requires an earnest and sincere pursuit of Him, believing that He rewards those who diligently seek Him. In essence, the verse highlights the importance of faith as a fundamental aspect of our relationship with God.
“By faith Enoch was taken from this life, so that he did not experience death: ‘He could not be found, because God had taken him away.’ For before he was taken, he was commended as one who pleased God.”(Hebrews 11:5)
This verse talks about Enoch, a man who lived during the time of Adam and Eve. According to the Bible, Enoch had a close relationship with God and was known for his faithfulness. Instead of experiencing death, God took him away, resulting in his translation to heaven. The verse highlights Enoch’s faith in God, which led to his pleasing God.
Thank you Lord for your word
We ask that as you help us strengthen our faith in you,may everything we do be acceptable in your sight and please you in Jesus name and may your will be done in our lives through Christ our Lord
Amen
Day 3
Let’s give thanks to the Lord for his love endures forever
We continue with our Hope Diary series on “Faith“
This passage emphasizes the key of salvation according to Christian belief. Salvation is a result of God’s grace, being freely given to individuals as a gift. It is not earned or achieved through personal efforts or works. The passage highlights that faith is the means through which one receives this gift of salvation, and it emphasizes that no one can boast about their own works or merits because it is all a product of God’s grace.
Salvation is not something that can be earned through our own efforts or good works, but it is a gift freely given by God’s grace. Faith in Jesus is what allows us to receive this gift of salvation and it reminds us that we should not boast or take credit for our salvation because it is entirely God’s doing, not our own. We should be humble and show gratitude towards God for His graciousness and love towards us.
Grace to you
Day 4
Thank you Lord for giving us an opportunity to see a new day. May your name alone be praised
We ask that you open our minds and our hearts to receive your word in Jesus name
Amen
Today’s verse reflects God’s guidance and wisdom for us believers. In this verse, God is encouraging us His people, to trust Him wholeheartedly and not rely solely our own understanding. It emphasizes the importance of submitting to God in all aspects of our lives and allowing Him to direct our paths. By following God’s guidance and relying on Him, we as believers can find clarity and straight paths in our journey with Christ . It emphasizes the importance of our faith and surrendering to God’s will
Day 5
We thank God for giving us another opportunity to learn His word
May His name be praised forever
Today’s verse highlights the concept of our faith, emphasizing that it entails having confidence and assurance in things that are not yet visible or tangible. Believers are encouraged to trust in God and have faith in His promises, even when circumstances may not indicate immediate fulfillment.
In the Bible, there are several verses that speak about faith and its importance in a believer’s life. Here are a few passages that highlight what God says about faith:
- Hebrews 11:1 – “Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.” This verse itself describes faith as having confidence in our hopes and assurance in things unseen.
- Matthew 17:20 – Jesus says, “Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.” Here, God emphasizes the power and significance of even a small amount of faith.
- Mark 11:22-24 – Jesus said, “Have faith in God. Truly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will come to pass, it will be done for him. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.” In this passage, Jesus encourages his disciples to have unwavering faith in God, emphasizing the importance of belief and trust in prayer.
- James 1:6 – “But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind.” James reminds believers that doubt hinders their faith and urges them to believe without wavering.
These verses, among many others in the Bible, highlight the significance of faith and the trust we should place in God. They encourage believers to have confidence in God’s promises, even when we cannot see them with our eyes.
Grace to you
