The Hope Journey Community

The Evangelism 101 Training Seminar began as a community gathering in 2018. Its first edition was held at Methodist Church, Nsawam Cannery Quarters, followed by the 2019 session at Wesley Methodist Church, Nsawam, and the 2021 session at PCG Victory Congregation, Abotakyi. Today, it serves as Hope Journey’s foundational training program, equipping believers with the confidence, clarity, and biblical grounding necessary to share the Gospel effectively.

Before we go into communities, we prepare.

This seminar ensures that every participant understands not just what to say, but why it matters and how to communicate it with wisdom and compassion.

The Evangelism 101 Training Seminar is a focused preparation program for volunteers participating in Hope Journey’s house-to-house evangelism and for members of partner churches within the Mission Village.

This training ensures that everyone going into the field is spiritually aligned, biblically grounded, and practically prepared.

We do not send people unprepared.

Who It Is For

  • Volunteers joining the Missions Weekend outreach
  • Team members assigned to house-to-house evangelism
  • Members of partner churches within the Mission Village
  • Local church workers supporting follow-up efforts

The seminar brings both visiting volunteers and local believers into alignment under one shared mission.

What the Training Covers

Participants are equipped with:

  • A clear and simple presentation of the Gospel
  • How to engage respectfully in house-to-house settings
  • How to initiate spiritual conversations naturally
  • Responding to common questions and concerns
  • Leading someone to Christ in prayer
  • Recording and reporting outreach interactions
  • Coordinating with local churches for follow-up and discipleship

This ensures consistency in message and approach.

Why It Matters

Evangelism without preparation can lead to confusion, mixed messaging, or missed opportunities.

The Evangelism 101 Training Seminar ensures:

  • Unity between Hope Journey and partner churches
  • Clarity in the Gospel message
  • Confidence among volunteers

  • Greater long-term impact in the Mission Village
