The Hope Journey Community

The Hope Journey Missions Weekend is an immersive outreach experience dedicated to evangelism, prayer, and community engagement within the selected Mission Village.

Spanning four days, this mission is designed to bring the Gospel directly to homes, streets, and hearts, combining prayer, presence, and proclamation.

It is not a visit. It is a spiritual assignment.

Friday

Arrival, Familiarisation & Prayer Night

The team arrives in the Mission Village and takes time to:

  • Connect with local leaders
  • Understand the community landscape
  • Pray intentionally over the area

The evening concludes with a focused Prayer Night; committing the weekend’s outreach to God and seeking spiritual direction before engagement begins.

Preparation precedes proclamation.

Saturday

Dawn Broadcast & House-to-House Evangelism

The mission begins early with a Dawn Broadcast, sharing messages of hope and the Gospel across the community.

Throughout the day, teams engage in:

  • Morning Devotional using megaphone or Information Center in the Village
  • Personal conversations and prayer
  • Evangelism 101 Training Seminar for Volunteers and People from the various partner churches who will be going for the House-to-House Evangelism on Sunday
  • House-to-House Evangelism in the Evening

We meet people where they are; physically and spiritually.

Sunday

Bible Distribution & House-to-House Evangelism

Sunday focuses on strengthening seeds already planted.

Activities include:

  • Distribution of Bibles to new believers and interested individuals
  • Follow-up visits
  • Continued evangelism
  • Encouragement and prayer sessions

This day ensures that the Gospel message is not only heard but supported with spiritual resources.

Monday

Prayer & Departure

Depending on travel distance, the team gathers for a final prayer session either Monday morning or Sunday evening.

This closing moment includes:

  • Thanksgiving for the mission
  • Prayer over new believers
  • Commitment of the community into God’s hands
  • Reflection and debrief

We leave knowing the work continues beyond our physical presence.
